Présentation

Football(s). Histoire, culture, économie, société is a multidisciplinary journal in humans and social sciences. Supported by the Lucien Febvre Center (UR2273) of the University of Franche-Comté, it is published twice a year. Each issue is structured around a thematic dossier and also includes varia, an interview, sections devoted to heritage, archives and material culture as well as reports and correspondence from abroad.

Le troisième numéro de la revue est consacré au rugby français à son histoire, son organisation et son jeu. Sur le continent européen la France a été le pays d’adoption des rugbys à XVI et XIII et a contribué à diffuser le jeu dans d’autres pays latins comme l’Italie et la Roumanie.

The third issue of the magazine is devoted to French rugby, its history, organisation and game. On the European continent, France was the country that adopted rugby union and rugby league and helped spread the game to other Latin countries such as Italy and Romania.

El tercer número de la revista está dedicado al rugby francés, su historia, su organización y su juego. En el continente europeo, Francia fue el país que adoptó el rugby union y rugby league y contribuyó a extender el juego a otros países latinos como Italia y Rumanía.
