Presentation
The European Bulletin of Himalayan Research (EBHR) was founded in 1991 and has appeared twice yearly ever since. It is edited on a rotating basis between France (CEH, CNRS), Germany (South Asia Institute, Heidelberg University) and the United Kingdom (School of Oriental and Asian Studies). From 2019 to 2023, the Centre for Himalayan Studies’ team (CNRS) is responsible for editing and managing the EBHR.
EBHR is double-blind, peer-reviewed journal devoted to research in Himalayan studies at large, across areas of specialty within the field of human and social sciences. Committed to promoting and disseminating rigorous scientific research on the extended Himalayas to the widest possible audience, EBHR is an open access publication.
